Josh Plotner is a professional saxophone and multi-woodwind instrumentalist living in New York. With hundreds of successful online studio sessions under his belt, he is able to communicate with every kind of client and deliver exactly what is needed. Josh has played on Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, major AAA video games, countless movies, TV shows, commercials, and is currently subbing on Broadway's Lion King. He's played with Esperanza Spalding, Meghan Trainor, dozens of Broadway vocalists, and many more. Josh is a part of many ensembles in and around New York, and through his experiences I've learned the vocabulary of jazz, classical, rock, pop, Latin (especially various South American musics), and other genres. Josh is equally comfortable being an orchestral woodwind section as he is playing a screaming rock sax solo.
Josh can also help create parts if you don't already have them ready (riffing over a tune, woodwind choir arrangements, writing out a whole sax soli, creating background parts, whatever you need!). Check out his multitrack videos on YouTube for some samples of extensive woodwind arranging!
For multiple tracks/layers as well as in-depth arranging, prices may vary. All jobs are priced on a case-by-case basis.
