Kayla Outlaw is a sweet southern gal with a classic-country backwoods edge.
Born in Houston Texas and Raised in a small lake town of only 4,000 people (just North of Austin Texas) Kayla Outlaw grew up “On the Edge Of Country.”
She has a unique sound with a diverse influence of artist like Patsy Cline, Hank Williams Jr, Fleetwood Mac, Faith Hill, Alison Krauss, The Cranberries, Evanescence, Dolly Parton, and Willie Nelson. She is excited to carry on that eclectic Indie “Austin sound” as others describe after they hear her originals live, but is proud to stick to her classic country roots.
Her first Single off the EP “Sittin’ Shotgun” was nominated by the Indie Music Channel for “Contemporary Country Song of the Year.”
