DESCRIPTION:
Hello! What I'm thinking for the production of this song: I'm wanting a solid bass line, electric guitar and live drums in addition to my vocals and acoustic guitar. For the bass, I'm thinking a melodic bass that accents the melody. For the electric guitar, I describe pretty well what I'm hearing in the video above or in my references below. I'm also possibly hearing keyboards or a sax or horn section - I'm not exactly sure where but I can hear that 6/8 dancing side of it with the horns and if a producer could add something like that, I'd be thrilled. Harmony vocals would be a male tenor vocalist. Basically, I'm looking for a mix of rock and Motown (6/8 slow groove) with a sultry feel to it. See video for a more in depth, verbal description.
REFERENCES:
I like the guitar solo and the powerful, yet dramatics of this song are simple.
I like the soul of this song. I like how the intimacy of the vocals are the focus. I also like the sax/horns.
